Co-Curricular Activities

The School's Co - Curricular and Extra Curricular programme is closely linked to the academic programme and the two objectively compliment each other. These include

Physical Education

Physical Education makes a unique contribution to a child's education, as it is the only area of the curriculum, which is concerned, with the development of gross motor skills and learning through movement. The P.E. Department conducts weekly Physical Education as well as Karate classes. The children experience a variety of physical activities such as rhythmic, aerobics, games, gymnastics, athletics and outdoor adventurous activities. Students consolidate their existing skills and gain new ones. Children learn to work as individuals, in pairs and as members of a group/team. Karate is taught to all students to build self-discipline and self-defence. Karate examinations are held once a year by the Karate association, Dubai. An Annual Sports Meet is conducted to showcase the students’ talents.

Performing Arts

Music, Drama, and Elocution are the fields through which the program instils knowledge and understanding of the performing arts. Students of Years 1 to 6 have weekly Music classes. Music makes a major contribution to observation skills through aural discrimination and memory development. Through this medium we aim to develop the child's skills and knowledge in performing, composing and listening along with musical independence, self esteem, motivation, co-operative working and an awareness of the qualities of others. Through drama, students explore and express ideas, develop scripts and dialogues, rehearse and perform with others in these classes.

Annual Concert

The school organises Annual Concerts that involve each and every child, giving him/her an opportunity to perform on stage to gain confidence and be independent.
